Car Culture: Team Transport is a premium series of 2-car sets beginning in 2018, consisting of a premium car and transporter, both in a similar livery. It’s all about the transportation of cars to their destination.

The Porsche 962 was a highly successful GTP endurance prototype sports car designed by Norbert Singer introduced in 1984 as an evolution of the previous 956. Powered by a 2.6L Type 935/76 flat-6 with one or two Kühnle, Kopp & Kausch turbochargers, the 962s were highly competitive in whatever races they entered, usually taking the win or at least a podium position. The 962s were so competitive that they were still winning races ten years after it was introduced, at which point numerous other cars had long obsoleted them; Team Taisan had the honors of taking the last ever competitive victory in a 962 in the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (now known as Super GT) in 1994. 91 chassis were produced in-house by Porsche, with additional being produced by other privateers such as Joest or Kremer.

The Sakura Sprinter is a Hot Wheels casting which debuted in the 2018 Car Culture: Team Transport Series. It is a Hot Wheels original design based on a ‘Japanese-Style Box Truck’ and bears resemblance to the Hino ZM Series COE of the 1960’s and 70’s. It has an opening rear door which serves as a ramp to drive a car into the plastic cargo box.   hotwheels.fandom.com
